What is RSS?

As explained in this article RSS For Rookies, RSS is simply a method of delivery of information published elsewhere on the web.

With RSS feeds, you can display whatever you want, wherever you want it.

You can use an RSS feedreader to read your news in the morning, or subscribe to various blogs.

You can get the content delivered to your handheld devices, like a palm pilot or Blackberry.

You can get RSS feeds delivered to your personalized home page of Google or Yahoo.

You can even use RSS feeds of relevant businesses to display on your own website.

Some people say RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Others used the term Rich Site Summary. At Feedcommander, we just call it Really Slick Stuff
