The fountains become the "stars of the show," with human-like movement. Walt Disney Imagineers turned to professional choreographer and dancer Joshua Horner as they endeavored to imbue the fountains with vitality, character and effusive emotion through the fluid beauty of dance. Pixar and World of Color

World of Color ? Magic in the Making
Construction for the new World of Color show at Disney's California Adventure Park is now well under way. Walt Disney Imagineers created the concept for this one-of-a-kind water-based entertainment back in 2004 and Guests are eagerly awaiting the debut of this spectacular nighttime show later this year. Building World of Color is a massive project involving dozens of specialized design and construction teams. And it's enormous! The central platform is longer than a football field and is covered with more than 1,200 individually-controlled fountains. It takes a lot of talented people ? and some of your favorite Disney characters ? to make new magic happen, as you'll see in this fun video montage.
The Holidays are Sweet at the Disneyland Resort
The holidays are here and sweeter than ever at the Disneyland Resort! Guests talk about their favorite decorations and Christmas touches at Disneyland Park. The lights on Sleeping Beauty Castle and "Santa's Reindeer Roundup" are among some familiar favorites! But on Main St., U.S.A., there's a Disneyland Park holiday tradition dating back to 1968 ? candy cane making! At the Candy Palace, candy canes are made completely by hand throughout the holiday season. Guests are welcome to watch all of the candy-making magic, from pulling to striping to shaping. Beloved Disney Characters traveled to Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles and Toronto, Sept 30, 2009, announcing a new program celebrating the spirit of volunteer service: "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day." One million people who perform volunteer service for a participating organization will receive a free one-day admission ticket to a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort theme park. Haunted Mansion Celebrates 40 Years of Happy Haunts
It's been 40 years since the Grim Grinning Ghosts first opened their doors at the Disneyland Resort and invited Guests into the Haunted Mansion.
