WTKR VIPIR weather: Pleasant weather moves in after downpour
A few days ago I wrote about our growing rainfall deficit. In a matter of a few hours last night that deficit disappeared, at least for some of us. The Norfolk International Airport received a record 4.64" yesterday. In Virginia Beach, 3.58" fell. Hampton picked up more than three inches and both Chesapeake and Newport News saw about an inch and a third. It looks like we'll turn the tap off for a few days, as some pleasant weather moves in.
